I am sure everyone in the community has been very busy with all the events (good and bad) this month.
I was also quite busy in december with work and family so I almost forgot to apply for NULS ambassador for Q1 2020. But here I am , still motivated to keep the NULS community growing in my country Mauritius and Africa in general.
So my plan for Q1 2020 is to keep doing what I have started building in the past year:
1- Keep doing local community events for Blockchain Education and initiation to the NULS Chainfactory, SCO and NRC20 / 721 tokens issuance. Since I am getting involved in the Blockchain Mauritius Foundation, I am trying to find ways where we can cooperate to show real use cases of Blockchain.
2- Keep strengthening our New NULSTAR, Mr George from Africa. He attended a big regional event in Uganda and already reported on his work in this medium link: https://medium.com/@nulswestafrica/ghana-blockchain-conference-2019-my-first-conference-as-a-nuls-blockchain-advocate-e6d1ac7a984f. Also George has a strong Twitter Following of around 1374 on the NULS west Africa twitter account and he is helping our NULS Africa faceboook community grow to over 500. We are now aiming at 1000 for Facebook for 2020.
3- Keep going to Regional events in Africa, Specially in Strategic countries like South Africa, Mauritius (of course, Nigeria and Uganda, the hubs for Blockchain in Africa. The next big event is in Johanesburg, South Africa, and it is aiming of gathering over 500 delegates. It is the biggest regional event of the year not to be missed. Here are the details of the conference:
Blockchain Africa Conference March 11 - 12, 2020 Johanesburg, South Africa
4- Keep looking for enterprises that can use the SCO / Token Issue , Chain Factory. But for that we, in the west (english speaking countries) would require demo videos in english of exactly how to use all these beautiful features, this would really help us, ambassadors.
I would like to devote more time and go to more events but at the moment with token price so low, it is quite difficult to engage in more actitivities. If the community would like me to put in place a plan like that of @joao, our Portugese lead, just show your support and I will work on a similar plan since then I could get a bigger budget.
