NULS Africa Ambassador July 2019 Report:
Dear NULS community,
Thank you for giving me the chance to work for the NULS community. JULY 2019 was a busy month as I visited the NULS head office and met with @reaper and the different teams. It was a real eye opener and it gave me even more confidence in the long term prospects of NULS as I saw the dedication and motivation of the whole team. I also got to get a Chainbox tutorial from Pen, the product manager.
I started the staking on the 17th July2 2019, so the amount of NULS received for july 2019 is around 852.
Half of that amount is budgeted to be used for NULS ambassador activities ( 426 NULS)
End of JUNE, I did a speaker series for my article on : "Why the world needs NULS". There were around 20 attendees and the response was really good.
I attended a Mauritius Business network meeting on the 11th of July in St-Pierre. It was a monthly general networking event where I am still letting people who about Bitcoin and Blockchain Basics.
But my main event this july was the "World STO summit" organised by Gulf Excellence where we met some very interesting projects in the STO field, and also some new contacts that have done their own blockchain to cater for the African market with a fork or ethereum and 5 nodes. I am trying to convince them to switch to the chainbox and why not NULS, they are thinking about it.
Expenses for the Month of JULY 2019:
Cost of the STO summit was USD 200 (400 NULS)
Fuel: USD 60 (120 NULS)
Total: 520 NULS
Budget for NULS ambassador activites: 426.
Balance: -94 NULS
So, there will be -94 NULS carried forward for August. Please note that I will be attending only local events like Blockchain Social hour today 8th August, and Blockchain Speaker series for August but that I am planning a regional trip to Cape Town (South Africa) for CryptoFest 2019 on the 7th September as per my ambassador plan and maybe 2 days in Kenya (Nairobi) to expand my network. This expense will be around USD 1000, so I am budgeting to spend more in September 2019.
I think this trip to South Africa and / or Kenya is important as it will enable NULS to get a more regional exposure. I will also be actively looking for a NULSTAR there in case I cannot find a proper one in Mauritius. Also, now that I have proper NULS uniform and banner, I will most definitely use them at the next events
I will also most definitely follow the chainbox tutorial to set up "my own blockchain" in 15 minutes I will keep you posted on that one.
Best regards, and long live NULS
