Hi to the NULS community,
Sorry for the late posting of my reply, I was quite busy with the End of Year rush.
I would like to thank every one of the 414,000 votes we got as support for the Ambassador elections, which is a big deal for the African region. I will keep doing my "Ambassador duty" if ok with the community as I had already planned some event sponsored by NULS I will elaborate on that in another post as I will also need to request some funds for these events.
So back to the December report:
End of November , I attended the "World Blockchain Summit" , which was one of the biggest events on the Island. There were some very interesting talks on regulations and also development of Blockchain in Mauritius since the event was sponsored by the Government of Mauritius. Despite the ticket being expensive (USD 350), I made some really good contacts who are considering staking in NULS for a start.
In december, I continued to attend the "Mauritius Business Network" and are talking to them to do a Basic "Blockchain 101" presented by NULS for March or April. There were 3 Networking sessions in 3 different regions of the Island.
Finally, I also attended to Iame's / Quantum end of year "party" with a small introduction to Blockchain, met a guy in charge of tech at PWC and talked about the "Chain factory" coming out soon to solve any company's Blockchain / Dapp requirements. He is looking forward to that.
I thank the NULS community for having given us the chance and honour to serve you, hopefully for the next election we will try to get many more candidates that apply so that more hardworking ambassadors can be elected. Oh yes, last but not least, thanks to NULS, I managed to make my first youtoube video to introduce myself and the long term plan of the ambassadorship for Africa. It was really stressful but a lot of fun at the same time
