NULS Blockchain Africa ambassador proposal for End Nov /Dec 2018, Jan / feb 2019.
Hi to the NULS community,
I have reworked on a strategic plan proposal for the ambassador program for Africa for Dec, Jan and Feb 2019.
I have posted my monthly report separately as the post would have been too long
https://nuls.community/d/229-africa-ambassador-november-2018-report
OBJECTIVE 1: CREATE A COMMUNITY OF 500+ PEOPLE IN AFRICA.
The Facebook platform for Nuls Africa @ https://www.facebook.com/nulsblockchainafrica/ has grown from around 100 to 273 currently. The growth so far has been organic, and most of the people in that group are quite new to crypto and blockchain. So in addition to promoting NULS, I am thinking of also explaining to them Blockchain basics like "what is a blockchain?" , "What is proof of stake" , "what is a wallet and where to download it"
OBJECTIVE 2: SET UP A PROFESSIONAL IMAGE AND MAKING ONE TO ONE CONTACTS.
I think I have achieved in that regard as the NULS ambassador Business card is the main tool I use, and now the next step is to get some Dress shirts and Polo shirts with the NULS logo embroided on them so I wear them at events. This professional image has enabled me to have direct contact with quite big investors mentioned in my monthly report like an Ex-finance minister, an ex managing partner at Luxemburg BIG4 accounting firm, like the chairman of the second biggest bank in Mauritius (State bank of Mauritius).
These people have or going to stake the NULS tokens and some are considering using the NULS platfor for Dapps in specific departments of their company. I have put some of them in direct contact with our CTO Isaac for further discussions.
I will keep meeting with these High net worth investors / Businesses to keep promoting NULS.
OBJECTIVE 3: ATTENDING LOCAL EVENTS.
As per my report, I have attended about 10 local events in November, and intend to continue in the next 3 months. The events I choose are mainly Blockchain / Tech events but also General Business / African / Expat events to initiate NEW users and new potential commnunity members. Here is a list of coming events in Mauritius for the first week of december, but there always new events every week. It should be noted that for the last 2 weeks of December and 1st week of January, there are not many Networking events as it is the holiday season here in Mauritius with Christmas and New Year, so for Dec and Jan, I will attend to less events than November.
A) 28th November: Mauritius Blockchain Meet up, Henessy Park Hotel, Ebene. 18:30-20:30 Pm
30th November: World Blockchain Summit. Intercontinental Hotel , Balaclava: Full Day

C) 4th Dec 2018: Mauritius Business Network , Grand Bay, The Beach House. 9:30- 11:30 AM
D) 6th Dec 2018: Mauritius Business Network, Black River, La vanille village: 9:30-11:30 AM
E) 13 th Dec 2018: Mauritius Business Network, Bagatelle. 9:30-11:30 AM
There will be many more local networking events, but I do not have a complete list for January / february for now.
OBJECTIVE 4: SETTING UP A REGIONAL BASE and RECRUIT NULSTARS.
Since I represent the African Region for NULS, and since AFRICA is a whole continent with 54 Countries, I also plan to go to some Regional Events. I would attend as Ambassador for networking and to represent Nuls Blockchain, find potential partners for joint events/ Exchanges / investors and to share the NULS adaptable philosophy in General. It would also allow me to network face to face and identify possible NULSTARS in those specific countries.
Another suggestion is if NULS wants to penetrate the African Market, I can contact the organisers of these BIG events to see if there are Sponsorship opportunities and maybe our CEO, CTO of other core team members can do a section on NULS. I think this could be a good idea when launching the CHAIN FACTORY.
A)- Bitcoin Events’ 5th annual Blockchain Africa Conference will take place in Johannesburg on 28 February 2019.
- Blockchain Africa Conference 1 March 2019 and in Cape Town on 6 March 2019. ( I Would purchase 1 air ticket to go to both conferences as they are both in South Africa)
C)- World Blockchain Summit in Nairobi , Kenya. 22-23 March 2019

OBJECTIVE 5: ORGANISING LOCAL INFORMATIVE EVENTS.
My original goal was to organise BI monthly events, 1 for Business people and One for Developers, but for Now It is more realistic for me to organise 1 monthly meeting for the Business people and Community until the CHAIN factory is up an running.
I have been attending many local events at different venues so as to get the know the organisers and have identified 3-4 networks where I want to organise a "NULS 101" to explain the NULS modular philosophy. I have contacted 3 of them , and have meetings with two of them ( The HIVE and The Mauritius Business Network) to work on the concept and dates etc. You can have a full report in my November ambassador report. For now, we are earmarking for a first event at the HIVE co working space with a general theme "Blockchain 101" or "Blockchain for Dummies" with a section on NULS, and sponsored by NULS. We are thinking of doing a sweepstake or an Airdrop to anyone who set ups a NULS wallet on their phone for example.
We would start with a very Basic introduction and then do more in depth sesssions the following months.
My plan is to organise similar event for tech and specially NON tech business networks. If there was a Dapp demo to show them , that could be even better for them to understand what NULS is all about.
This is my general plan, any suggestions is most welcome. If I some spare time, I would also like to write another article for NULS mainly for the new non crypto people. I hope to have the support of the NULS community to keep representing NULS and keep building the NULS community here in Africa and Worldwide.
Best Regards,
Sebastien Ng Cheong Tin.
